In the end, I liked the book and would recommend it. I liked number three the best, actually, so I'd suggest you read it so that you know better what is going on when brcokway get to "The Ravishing One. But, by that point he's fallen in love with her and decides he brockwat protect her from his father, but if he does he might not get the money promised him by same dastardly father that he can use to pay the ransom to free his brother from a French prison.
Six months later, he finds Favor McClairen impersonating his dead mother and putting herself right in the path of his evil father, all to reclaim McClairen lands rightfully belonging to her clan and passionafe by Raine's father. But Favor meets Raine again
